The Beyond The Gates what to watch moments for Wednesday, April 23, show Dani striking out on her own as Doug goes down a risky path. Meanwhile, Ted encourages Nicole to ditch their anniversary plans for something more intimate.

Wednesday’s episode is all about the chances we take and the risks that follow. Dani (Karla Mosley) wants to strike it on her own in the fashion world. She wants to start a modeling agency. She will forge her own path. But will she be able to stick to this path? Or will someone (or something) stop her? Dani’s affinity for revenge and love of the bottle could ruin her dreams from happening.
Meanwhile, Ted (Maurice Johnson) wants Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) to abandon their original plans. He wants to have something that’s a little more intimate. Ted will suggest they should go away on a private getaway. It’s not for romantic reasons. He has a feeling that Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) is up to something again.
She hasn’t stopped scheming yet. As we found out in the Monday, April 21 episode, she bought some new wigs along with other items. Leslie might have other alter egos in mind. Hopefullly, she doesn’t find out about Ted and Nicole’s plans. She could take one of those alter egos and follow them to the resort. That would be fun for her and for us to see.
What’s Going On With Doug?
Those aren’t the only events taking place on Wednesday’s episode. Doug (Jason Graham) noticed that was finally changing after Joey (Jon Lindstrom) threatened him. However, this latest move will cause him to make the wrong move, once again—ten steps forward, two steps back. Doug could find himself going down a risky path, but he’s willing to double down on this choice. Where will it land him? Will Doug find himself in more trouble than it’s worth?
