Home and Away Valerie’s link to Summer Bay exposed after romance with co-star

Remarkably, the actress who plays Valerie is related to Summer Bay.

The character Valerie was first seen on Tuesday, March 19, in the episode of Home and Away starring Courtney Clarke. She was identified as the mental health clinic roommate of Ada Nicodemou’s character, Leah Patterson.

Valerie was shocked to learn that Leah hadn’t gone directly home to James Stewart’s character, Justin Morgan, after being released from the clinic. Courtney, meanwhile, has a connection to the soap opera from her past.

There were rumors circulating last year that Courtney was seeing Lincoln Younes, her co-star. Fans of Home and Away will be familiar with that name because the actor played Casey Braxton there from 2011 to 2014.

Courtney and 32-year-old Lincoln got to know each other in 2022 while filming the Paramount+ biopic Last King of the Cross. In the ten-episode drama series, Lincoln plays the principal character John Ibrahim; Courtney plays Brooke in two of them.

Following a lunch date in Sydney in April 2023, the TV couple was first seen together. The couple’s discreet relationship was verified by The Daily Telegraph Australia in October.

Since they haven’t been seen together and because Courtney and Lincoln are still infamously secretive about their romantic relationships, it is uncertain if they are still dating. Returning to the soap opera, it appears that Valerie and Theo Poulos (Matt Evans) could get romantically involved.

Theo and Valerie go to Salt for a drink the following week. She is obviously reluctant to discuss her background, but she really wants to learn more about Theo.

Valerie answers to Theo’s apology if he went too far in inquiring about her family by opening up to him. She tells the harrowing tale of how her brother picked her up from a party and the heated dispute that transpired during the drive home.

The car ended up upside down as a result of their argument. Valerie says that her parents never showed her forgiveness and that her sibling perished in the collision.
