BTG July 10 Recap: Nicole Loses Control, Eva Strikes Back, and Kat Might’ve Just Gone Too Far…

Leslie joins Hayley at Orphie Gene’s and goes on about being harassed by Jacob and Kat. She tells a confused Hayley that her daughter comes to visit occasionally. Hayley tries to leave but Leslie thinks they’ve something in common.
They’re both pariahs. Hayley acts like she’s not. She has Bill and their baby and it’s all she needs.
Leslie’s excited it was a shotgun wedding but Hayley sets her straight. Leslie tells her not to be a sucker. Men always hurt women. Hayley believes she’ll get what she deserves and asks what Leslie wants. Leslie wants to belong.
Hayley seems interested when Leslie says, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Hayley admits she loved the Duprees but fell for Bill. Leslie reminds her she destroyed his marriage to Nicole and married at the country club that the Duprees basically own. She calls the younger woman a wrecking ball. Annoyed, Hayley takes off and Leslie finishes her breakfast.
Nicole arrives and Leslie invites her to join her. Nicole tells her Laura’s back to work, Leslie says she doesn’t know any Laura. Nicole suggests she’s tried to murder so many people that Laura slipped her mind.
Leslie shrugs it off and acts confused by it. She confesses she doesn’t get Nicole’s obsession. “Girl, there’s something wrong, seriously wrong with you,” she says.
Nicole says there’s evidence but Leslie quotes Shaggy. “It wasn’t me.” She continues eating the toast, calling it “off the chain.” Nicole goes on to tell the other woman that the police have the gloves, helmet and jacket, while Leslie calls it all circumstantial.
Nicole accuses her of getting access to her house for DNA for a paternity test and Leslie laughs. She always knew Ted was her baby daddy. She jokes about having DNA all over a blue dress in the back of her closet. Nicole calls Leslie disgusting, and Leslie thinks Nicole’s a prude. No wonder Ted needed an escape from her.
She thinks that when Nicole was home having miscarriages that she and Ted were “humping like bunny rabbits.” Nicole gets up to leave as Leslie says Ted was insatiable.
Nicole counters that Leslie “forgot” her birth control a few times, maybe poked holes in the condom, thinking Ted would come to her. She slut shames Leslie who then rubs it in that they had hot times together.
Eva arrives at Ted’s office and can see he’s upset. She let their accreditation lapse. She was supposed to schedule an inspection days ago. Now they’ve got to pay a hefty fine and go through the process of reapplying.
Eva’s confused. He says her lack of understanding will take time and money to correct.
Eva saw it and flashed to Kat, telling her they had their inspection and to ignore it. Ted’s surprised Kat missed it. Eva apologizes and offers to pay for it. He refuses that but will get to the bottom of how this slipped through the cracks.
When Kat’s summoned, Eva leaves the room. Ted questions his daughter about the creditation and Kat lies that she told Eva how critical it was. Eva listens unhappily from the other side of the door.
Kat offers to watch over things and claims Eva’s not smart enough for any of it.
Ted asks if she deliberately tried to confuse her and Kat says no, as much as she loathes her, she’d never harm her dad or his business.
Outside, Eva sneers. Kat urges her dad to be hard on Eva but he is off to coffee with Nicole. Kat can’t help but be “Team Mom” on this. Eva hides behind a potted plant as Ted leaves and then runs back inside to confront her half-sister. “Proud of yourself?” She confronts her about lying to her about the creditation and Kat calls her “delulu.” Eva won’t hurt Ted nor will she fall for Kat’s petty attacks. She may pay her back the way she deserves. She exits with a smirk.
She talks about how Eva helped her mother to sneak into Laura’s room and poison her. Eva doesn’t bite and decides to tattle on her to Ted. Kat doubts she will. She already had the chance. If she did, she knows it’d make her as desperate as her mother.
