Another major Hollyoaks exit confirmed as star is set to leave

Jon-Paul Bell as Beau Ramsey in Hollyoaks

Jon-Paul Bell is reportedly set to exit Hollyoaks.

The actor, who portrays Beau Ramsey, has removed all references to the Channel 4 soap from his Instagram bio.

Beau was introduced to Hollyoaks under two years ago as part of a retcon which saw the then newcomer confirm that he’s long-serving mainstay Tony Hutchinson’s (Nick Pickard) biological son.

The character subsequently secured a position at the local high school, where he has worked alongside Hunter McQueen (Theo Graham), who recently was killed off.

More recently, Beau has struck up a relationship with newcomer Kitty Draper (Iz Hesketh), with the two covering up the murder of Kitty’s vile dad Declan Hawthorne (Alan Turkington).

But the character is set to leave this year, according to The Sun.

Metro.co.uk has reached out to Hollyoaks for comment.

News of Jon-Paul’s exit comes just days after Metro confirmed that Matthew James Bailey, who plays much-loved fan-favourite Ethan Williams, is also set to leave Hollyoaks.

No, you’re crying.

Hollyoaks is set to undergo a number of huge changes in September, with episodes set to be reduced from five a week to three, with a host of cast members departing prior to that to facilitate the move.

Stephanie Waring, Ross Adams and Jamie Lomas – who play Cindy Cunningham, Scott Drinkwell and Warren Fox – will also leave the show.

Zain Rizwaan star Jonas Khan has also completed filming, with his character set to leave in the coming weeks.
