Beyond the Gates Recap: Nicole Walks Into Leslie’s Wicked Web — Plus, Dani’s Surprising Decision!

Tuesday, April 22, 2025: Today on Beyond the Gates, Tomas, Dani and Anita each receive offers. 

It’s the morning after karaoke night, and the town’s buzzing about the performance put on by the Dupree ladies.

Not surprisingly, Hayley would rather dive into work than hear Kat — who swung by Bill’s office to visit Tomas — brag about Dani’s triumphant evening. Pulling Tomas into his office, Bill says he wants the young would-be partner to join the board formed by the three plaintiffs in the dropped lawsuit… and serve as the boss man’s spy! As Bill’s laying out his latest sleazy plan, Hayley listens in covertly. She admits to Bill she overheard, and he makes it clear confidentiality rules apply and she has to keep quiet. But she’s seeing the world through different eyes, knowing she might be pregnant. After all, there’s a 50/50 chance they’d have a daughter, and she’d want that girl to be protected in the workplace. He actually manages to blame Hayley for the situation, saying Mike’s behavior flew under the radar because Bill was too busy falling in love.

Thanks to Vernon, Anita takes a meeting with a talent promotor named Jim Price. Quicker than you could write a Yelp review raving about Orphey Gean’s food, he’s offering her a chance at a comeback. He even suggests she perform a song with Dani and Naomi before doing the solo set her fans are dying for. She agrees to consider it, but makes no promises. Vernon suggests Anita is scared, and she denies it… saying she’s terrified, but will think about it.

Chelsea suggests that Sam would be a great “hype girl” for the upcoming purse line. Chelsea isn’t thrilled when Sam agrees with Kat that having Dani serve as Chief Marketing Officer would give their fledgling company a leg up. “No shade, but you can use that kind of power at your back,” the younger girl points out.

Andre swings by to check on Dani and finds that the glass she’s drinking from contains… water! Between smooches, she thanks him for having kicked her in the rear and gotten her back on track. During a very sexy game of truth or dare, she shares plans to start a modeling company with Pamela. He, in turn, shares plans to seduce her… which leads to a sexy photo shoot! When Andre says he feels like a piece of meat, she replies, “Wagu, baby, good enough to eat!” Chelsea later swings by to offer her mom the CMO job… only to have Dani turn it down!

Dana/Leslie/Anna/Lulu presents Eva with a gorgeous (and expensive) dress so she looks classy when they yank the rug out from under Ted at his anniversary party. Eva is clearly not happy about the situation, but Leslie is practically salivating over the idea of “Nasty Nikki” learning her husband’s big, bad secret. Speaking of secrets, Ted asks Eva to help him surprise Nicole with a piece of jewelry he’ll present her at the big event. Nicole later tells her hubby she wants Eva to sit at the family’s table at the party. (Dang, Kat is not gonna like that!) A few moments later, she crosses paths with “Sherry” — who says, “I don’t have much time, but there’s something you need to know!”
