Bob the Drag Queen and Monét X Change are not beating around the bush when it comes to sharing the most difficult guests they’ve each had on RuPaul’s Drag Race’s The Pit Stop.
The recap YouTube show, which has run alongside each US season of Drag Race and All Stars for several years has proven a smash success with Drag Race fans.
Each week the host of the show, which has previously included both Bob and Monét X Change multiple times as well as Trixie Mattel and Bianca Del Rio, sits down with a former Ru-girl and discusses the episode.
And while the finished videos are always a hoot, it would seem the filming process is not always so fun.
Bob and Monét opened the doors on this during a recent episode of their hit podcast, Sibling Rivalry. With Monét currently hosting The Pit Stop during All Stars 10, Bob had a direct question for her co-host.
“Who is your least favourite guest you’ve had so far?” asked Bob who admitted it was a “mean-spirited question” but that “I like drama.”
Without missing a beat the sponge queen answered, “Daya Betty,” an answer that surprised Bob.
“We did get along, but this b**ch, that wig she wore, she decided to dye it the night before,” explained Monét And then she’s on set wearing a f***ing fur coat and it’s hot on set so y’all we had to restart the episode about four times.”
The season 10 queen said each time they restarted they were about 15 minutes into filming and the wig was dripping on Betty.
“That’s why if you look at the side of her face, there’s red. She was just [wig] bleeding. So that’s why I when I make that joke about her wig bleeding down the side of her head, it was like the fourth time we had to restart the episode.”
As for who was the easiest to work with Monét X Change chose BenDeLaCreme before adding, “Plastique was so fun. Plastique was wild. Plastique said, ‘Ya’ll said I don’t have personality on All Stars, here she is.’ It was so fun.”
“I think that comes across in the episode” she said. “You hid your Daya Betty, how difficult it was, I could not possibly hide how… I think at one point I said to her, ‘If you don’t answer this question, I’m going to kill myself,’” Bob said.
“I was like, I’m going crazy. I’m losing my mind. You have to answer at least one of these questions. You literally must answer at least one question. She was driving me absolutely insane.”
And as for his easiest guest, Bob went for Thorgy Thor, calling Monét an “easy answer.” Bob explained, “Thorgy and I always cut up and have fun. Willow Pill was so funny. Really really funny,” she also said.
