Chicago Fire fans fear Taylor Kinney’s Severide will be ‘killed off’ and beg show ‘not to take him away from them’
After an episode filled with dangerous stunts, Kelly Severide finds himself in an even scarier situation
CHICAGO Fire fans have feared that a major character is going to be taken off the show.
In a promo for next week’s episode, Kelly Severide seems to be in deep trouble on the drama.
“Chicago Fire takes stunts to the next level,” they captioned the Instagram post.
In the first scene, a stunt person jumped onto a ladder as a car fell out a window.
Then, the next one had someone else jumping onto a car and falling off of it after it was pulled through a wall.
The first scene was then shown from a different angle as the rain poured down.
At the end of the video, Miranda Rae Mayo sat on a ladder in her firefighter uniform and threw her arm around in a circle.
“Stunt complete= celebration dance,” the video was captioned as Miranda completed her day of stunts.
After the death-defying stunts were shown, a promo for next week’s episode was shown and fans feared for Severide’s life.
THE TRUCK IS MISSING
In the promo, Miranda, who plays Lieutenant Stella Kidd, is heard saying that their fire truck was stolen and that Kaling is missing.
“If anyone can handle it, it’s Severide,” she said.
Severide, played by Taylor Kinney, is seen riding in the back of a fire truck, hiding.
He then gets out of the truck and enters a building, where he hides from the men in it, who supposedly stole the fire house’s truck.
Severide is then seen helping a person who is hurt as the two men form the building approach him with guns.
In the end, he’s standing in front of a field that is ash and still burning.
The promo says that this next episode of Chicago Fire will be the “ride of his life.”
WORRIED FOR SEVERIDE
After seeing both videos, fans feared for Severide’s life.
“SEVERIDE STAY WITH ME? #chicagofire,” an X, formerly Twitter, user wrote, alongside the trailer.
“WHAT?!?! OMG that is so intense,” a fan replied to them.
“Please please don’t take Severide away from us. I did not like next weeks promo. But tonight’s episode was fire,” a fan tweeted.
On the Instagram video of the stunts, one fan commented, “Did you see next weeks promo???? I sure hope Taylor isn’t killed off.”
To that, someone replied and assured them he would be ok.”Severide has a storyline with violet in the description for episode 12,” they said.
Chicago Fire airs on Wednesdays at 9pm on NBC.
