Chicago Fire may have just revealed the location of the Brettsey wedding

We had our suspicions, but these set photos seem to confirm it.

Chicago Fire has had wedding bells on the brain. More specifically, Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) has. She’s been given the exciting but somewhat unenviable task of planning a wedding with only a month to prep, while at the same time juggling a full-time position as a medic and an impending move out of Windy City.

To no one’s surprise, it’s been overwhelming for the character. Brett has struggled to juggle all these different responsibilities, and is still struggling to find the right venue in which to get married.

Brettsey was photograhed at Molly’s Pub

She’s already ruled out a few possibilities, which we documented here, but new production photos suggest that she may have changed her mind on a particular location…

The phots were posted on the Instagram account of Lottie’s Pub, which is the real-life bar that serves as the basis for Molly’s Pub. The photos were posted on February 8, and the caption reads: “Scenes from last night’s episode at Molly’s!” The revelation, however, was in how each of the characters were dressed.

Instead of wearing casual, off-duty clothes, or their 51 uniforms, characters like Herrmann (David Eigenberg, Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso), and even Brett were dressed in formal attire. Suits and dresses as far as the eye could see.

Matt Casey, who has been MIA for the first leg of season 12, also appeared in the set photos rocking a button-up shirt and a formal dress coat. What we’re getting at, of course, is that we may be looking at the location of the long-anticipated Brettsey wedding.

The couple still need to find a wedding venue

Chicago Fire - Season 8

Now, to be fair, Brett ruled out Molly’s Pub on the grounds that it was too small to accommodate all the people she wanted to invite, but Chicago Fire showrunner

Andrea Newman has already said that the couple go through some difficult times leading up to their wedding, so we could be looking at a change of heart in terms of wanting an intimate wedding over a huge one.

To be fair, we could simply be looking at the reception for the wedding, or the after-after party, in which only members of the 51 family get invited, but given the way that everybody is dressed, and the fact that a wedding venue has yet to be selected, we can’t rule out the possibility of watching it all go down at Molly’s.

Molly’s has, after all, played a pretty big role in Brett and Casey getting together. It would be rather fitting.
