Chicago Fire preview: What to expect in season 12, episode 6
It’s time to say goodbye to Brett in Chicago Fire season 12, episode 6. Here’s everything you need to know about the new episode.
We knew we would have to say goodbye to Brett at some point during Chicago Fire season 12. That time has come.
During the most recent hour, Brett’s job was on the line. It turned out that there was an issue with the equipment, but that didn’t stop the new paramedic chief from gunning for Brett’s job. It looks like Violet will have a new enemy moving forward.
However, for now, we get to celebrate Brett moving forward in her life. She’s getting ready to marry Casey.
Chicago Fire 12×06 promo
The promo focuses on the wedding. We get to see Boden officiate the wedding as he did with Severide and Kidd. It only makes sense considering how important Casey was to the firehouse for so long and how they’re all family.
We get to see that Severide will be back for this episode. It’s been difficult without him around all the time, but there was no way that we could have a wedding without Severide being Casey’s best man. Casey made it back for Severide’s wedding, after all.
During the promo, Boden also says that “no matter where you go, 51 will always be your home.” You just know that he is saying that to Brett, but it counts for everyone who has walked in through those doors and left on good terms.
Chicago Fire 12×06 synopsis
There is a lot of focus on the wedding in the synopsis, too. We get a tease that some familiar faces will show up for this, and it’s surely not just about Casey. Will Gabby show up? She was Brett’s best friend, but she is also Casey’s ex-wife, so that would be awkward.
Outside of the wedding, there’s a call from the expo center. That is sure to lead to an emergency for 51 to deal with on the day of the wedding. There has to be at least one call.
“Firehouse 51 welcomes back some familiar faces and says goodbye to Brett. Violet scrambles to decorate Brett’s wedding venue. A call at the expo center takes a shocking turn.”
