Chicago Fire Season 12 Set Video Offers Early Look At Brett & Sylvie’s Wedding
A new Chicago Fire season 12 set video reveals an early look at Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Sylvie Brett’s (Kara Killmer) much-anticipated wedding.
A new Chicago Fire season 12 set video shows the first look at Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Sylvie Brett’s (Kara Killmer) wedding. Long-lasting romances have been difficult to come by at Firehouse 51, especially in the last few years. It has been a few seasons since Stella Kidd and Kelly Severide tied the knot, and no other couple has followed suit since then. That will all change in Chicago Fire season 12, with the impending wedding of Casey and Brett.
Mark Domitrovich, owner of Lottie’s Pub, which is the set location for Molly’s, shared a video on Instagram from a filming session for Chicago Fire season 12, offering an early look at Casey and Brett’s wedding. Watch the video below:
The clip shows Casey and Brett walking out of Molly’s to the cheers of their Firehouse 51 friends. Previously, a set image of Spencer came back to film the happy occasion. This video is taken on the same shooting day.
When Brett & Casey’s Wedding Will Happen In Chicago Fire Season 12
After their engagement in the Chicago Fire season 11 finale, the season 12 premiere laid out what comes next for the couple, giving viewers a road map of their upcoming arc. Considering how busy everyone is with the preparations for the event, it’s safe to say that Casey and Brett’s wedding is happening in a few weeks, which means that Killmer’s farewell episode will take place well before the series finale. As established, the pair will move to Portland, Oregon following the ceremony, effectively writing Brett out.
Chicago Fire co-showrunner Andrew Newman has revealed that there’s a lot to expect from Brett’s arc before she officially leaves Firehouse 51. At some point, her comments raised concerns about the possibility that her wedding to Casey may not actually push through. The aforementioned effectively squashes those worries, but it doesn’t mean that the road to tying the knot with Casey will be straight and easy. She’s had previous issues with the job, and it seems like there’s more to come.
Regardless of how tumultuous the next few weeks will be for Brett, at least there’s a promise of a happy ending for her and Casey in Chicago Fire season 12. Their upcoming wedding will also be a great way to ease some pressure at Firehouse 51, considering the many challenges that it has faced in the last several months. Maybe the romantic setting can help with Severide and Kidd’s ongoing marital issues.
