Hollyoaks airs terrifying Kitty and Declan cliffhanger
Will she be rescued in time?
Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Friday’s episode on Channel 4 streaming, which airs on E4 on Monday.
Hollyoaks has aired a tense cliffhanger for Kitty Draper, as Carter Shepherd, Declan, and Gareth continued their reign of terror.
Tonight’s (May 17) streaming episode began with Carter telling John Paul McQueen, who had been kidnapped by Gareth, that he was going to ‘baptise’ him in the lake.
Meanwhile, Beau Ramsey told Sally St Claire that he was concerned about Kitty, which only intensified after finding a half-written note about a secret and photo of her as a child, and after Diane Hutchinson couldn’t get in touch with her, they called the police.
Carter submerged John Paul in the lake and he passed out in the water, to the point where even Gareth said that what Carter was doing wasn’t right, but thankfully the authorities didn’t take long to arrive.
While Zoe Anderson managed to arrest Carter, Gareth did a runner. As John Paul started to cough, Carter was overjoyed to see him alive, believing he had ‘passed the test from God’ and had been ‘cleansed’.
The police sat Carter down to interview him, but he refused to admit anything. Meanwhile, Sally comforted John Paul and questioned him about his secret relationship with Carter.
Back at the house by the lake, viewers saw that Kitty was still there, having been locked in a room by Declan, who had put police off the trail with false information.
“Stealing my phone, calling the police, interrupting Carter’s work? …Now it’s time to reap what you’ve sewn,” he threatened.
Meanwhile, Beau went to the police station to report that Kitty was missing. When Zoe checked the records, she saw that Kitty Draper was actually reported missing three months ago…
If Kitty manages to escape from her evil father, what will happen once her secrets are revealed?
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
