Hollyoaks’ Beau and Kitty set to cover up Declan’s death in tense scenes
Declan continues to haunt the pair.
Beau Ramsey and Kitty Draper are set to cover up Declan Hawthorne’s death in Hollyoaks in the aftermath of Kitty’s terrifying kidnapping ordeal.
The religious fanatic and his crony Carter Shepherd both departed the show after their plot to create a conversion therapy operation fell apart.
After Declan kidnaps his daughter Kitty and takes her to their family cabin while attempting to force her to renounce her trans identity, Beau discovers her location to rescue her, leading Kitty to reveal the truth about who she was.
She dropped the bombshell that she adopted the identity of the real Kitty Draper while attempting to escape her father. She and the “real Kitty” had been involved in a car crash which claimed her companion’s life, and Kitty began going by the moniker to hide from her dad.
In a scuffle between Declan, Kitty, and Beau, Beau hit Declan over the head with a scrapbook that led to his death, with him and Kitty now covering up the fatal incident.
In upcoming scenes, Kitty tries to assure Beau that he can speak at Hunter McQueen’s funeral but he is haunted by causing Declan’s death.
Beau lashes out at Vicky Grant in school, leading Sally St. Claire to send him home with Kitty. On the way, they bump into Cindy Cunningham and Lexi Roscoe, with Beau asking Kitty how she can act so normally while he is struggling with his guilt.
Kitty admits she is going to confess to killing Declan, but Beau begs her to reconsider. He continues to struggle to keep it together and when Kitty fails to meet him, he heads to the police station.
Luckily for him, Kitty has changed her mind over confessing to the murder and he pledges to make it work with her.
Paul continues trying to track down Carter’s associates and tells Sally he is heading to the cabin, making Kitty and John Paul McQueen panic.
Kitty tells Beau that they must head to the cottage to move Declan’s body – but will they get there in time?
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
