Hollyoaks confirms pregnancy story as major star returns
Zoe Anderson (Garcia Brown) will be left reeling in Hollyoaks next week when she discovers that she’s pregnant.
The detective, as viewers know, reunited with former beau Hunter McQueen (Theo Graham) at Pride last month, with the pair becoming engaged shortly afterwards.
Things, however, took a shocking turn, with Zoe sleeping with Hunter’s twin brother Prince (Malique Thompson-Dwyer), with the pair subsequently riddled with guilt over what they did.
Prince, unable to cope with his actions, confessed all to his beloved brother, unaware that Hunter had tragically died on his shoulder. The teacher had previously taken drugs, which were dodgy.
Zoe has struggled to come to terms with the death of Hunter, with Prince taking her frustrations out on her, given their betrayal. But there are more shocks to come, with upcoming scenes seeing Zoe discover that she’s pregnant.
The question is: who is the father?
Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith) finds out about Zoe’s pregnancy and urges her to tell Hunter’s family. Zoe, however, reasons that she might not want a baby because of her career.
The day of Hunter’s funeral arrives and the mourners gather in the village to say goodbye, with Prince struggling to contain his emotions – particularly due to Goldie’s (Chelsee Healey) absence.
Zoe urges him to forget about their night together just for one day as they mourn Hunter but Prince struggles with the guilt as he turns to the drink.
At the wake, Prince starts to speak out of turn, having clearly drank too much, which puts Zoe on edge. Fearing that he’s going to reveal the whole truth about the night of Hunter’s demise, Zoe interjects, blurting out that she’s pregnant!
The revelation is made at the exact moment Goldie walks through the door! Goldie, as viewers know, learned of Hunter’s death while on holiday with Myra McQueen (Nicole Barber-Lane).
How will Prince take the news of Zoe’s pregnancy? How will Goldie, for that matter? And will word of Prince and Zoe’s one night stand out?
One to watch: Monday June 10 from 7:30pm on Channel 4 streaming or Tuesday June 11 at 7pm on E4.
