Hollyoaks confirms shock and unexpected new direction for Sienna Blake – as her life changes forever
Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) embarks on an exciting new chapter in Hollyoaks next week as she reveals her new business venture to the world, and it’s not exactly what you might have had in mind.
The show’s resident schemer, as viewers know, has had the year from hell, following the breakdown of her relationship with soulmate Ethan Williams (Matthew James Bailey).
Her plot to woo rich Rafe Harcourt (Chris Gordon) backfired quite dramatically, with Sienna falling for Rafe, only for the Earl to die on their wedding day, with Dilly (Emma Johnsey-Smith) having played a vital role in keeping them apart.
What’s more, a shock twist confirmed that Dilly – who was introduced as Rafe’s sister – was, in fact, his wife. Not only that, but she’s actually Sienna’s biological sister, with the two sharing a dad in Patrick Blake (Jeremy Sheffield).
It’s all a bit complicated!
But despite the way in which she came into her life, Sienna has managed to forgive Dilly, with the pair forging quite a strong sibling relationship as they moved out of Harcourt Grove and back to 5 Oakdale Drive.
With the Rafe story officially at an end and a new branch of the Blake family about to arrive, we’re on the cusp of a new era for Sienna, one which the woman herself intends on marking with an exciting new business venture as she opens a stall in the market.
And just what will she be selling?
Flowers, of course! Blake’s Blooms is unveiled next week, and it certainly comes as a surprise to Dilly and Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart), who both are taken aback by Sienna’s new business.
That’s a question we may find out the answer to soon as Dilly is nowhere to be found after a meeting with Martha (Sherrie Hewson), who rocked up earlier this month claiming to be a long-lost relative.
To add further confusion to the scenario, Dilly sets her sights on newcomer Jeremy (also played by Jeremy Sheffield), who bears a striking resemblance to her dead dad, with Sienna subsequently receiving word that her sister is in hospital, claiming to be suffering from hallucinations of Patrick.
The truth, however, is soon revealed – and everything changes.
