Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Monday’s (June 10) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on Tuesday June 11 at 7pm.
Zoe Anderson (Garcia Brown) blurted out at Hunter McQueen’s (Theo Graham) wake that she’s pregnant. The detective, as viewers know, dated Hunter previously and reconnected with him at Pride last month.
After Prince (Malique Thompson-Dwyer) became engaged to Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith), Zoe decided to throw caution to the wind, popping the question to Hunter, who accepted.
But after Hunter and Dilly left, Zoe and Prince slept together while drunk.
Both were riddled with guilt over their actions, with Prince resolving to tell his twin brother the truth about his betrayal.
Before he could do so, however, Hunter tragically died. The teacher had taken drugs at The Loft, unaware that they were dodgy.
The village mourned the much-loved resident in the scenes that followed, with Prince struggling to keep it together as his brother’s funeral was organised.
Zoe, meanwhile, came to discover last week that she’s pregnant, with Dilly encouraging her to share such information with the McQueens.
Zoe struggled to do so but, on the day of Hunter’s wake, she was left with little choice but to spill the beans, with Prince dangerously close to revealing the truth about their one night stand.
Despite his previous anger, however, Prince thought of Zoe’s pregnancy as a glimmer of hope, vowing to be the best uncle imaginable. But Zoe was forced to break the news that the baby is in fact his – not Hunter’s.
Oh dear.
Just how will Prince take the news? And does this mean that his and Zoe’s one night stand is set to out?
