Hollyoaks‘ Nancy Osborne is suspended from work next week after a new incident involving her step-daughter Frankie.
Nancy is also forced to move out of the Osborne house as she faces some damning accusations.
The drama begins next week as Frankie prepares to attend a ballet audition in Manchester.
Frankie is hoping that this new opportunity could take her away from the village, shielding her from her brother JJ’s sexual abuse.
Charlie Dean continues to support Frankie over her decision and he even signs her consent form for the audition. In contrast, manipulative JJ is angry over the possibility that Frankie could leave.
When Frankie heads to a Manchester theatre for the audition, she desperately hopes to impress the judges. Her chances come under threat when she spots JJ watching her from the wings, distracting her.
Frankie desperately tries to reason with her evil brother, telling him how much dancing means to her. She also gets along well with the other girls at the audition, which provides hope for new friendships in the future.
JJ discovers that Frankie will be moving to London if she passes the audition. Their parents Darren and Suzanne are equally shocked when they find out.
Darren and Suzanne initially put their foot down and insist that Frankie won’t be going to London. However, Darren later reconsiders his stance and promises to help Frankie achieve her dreams.
Nancy is less enthusiastic and wants Frankie to stay. With so much back and forth over the London move, Darren and Nancy both miss the tragic truth about what’s really bothering Frankie.
By the end of the week, another worrying incident has occurred involving Frankie and Nancy is facing serious consequences.
Nancy stays with newlyweds Cindy and Dave amid accusations over her behaviour and she’s also suspended from her job at Hollyoaks High.
Cindy and Dave try to rally round Nancy, but Cindy struggles to understand why Frankie is telling lies about the village favourite.
Nancy heads to school for a chat with headteacher Sally St Claire, who feels caught in the middle of the family dispute when Suzanne also arrives to have her say.
Jack offers support to Nancy, understanding what she’s going through after the accusations that Frankie previously made against him.
With confusion and concern growing over Frankie’s behaviour, are her family any closer to uncovering the disturbing truth about JJ’s abuse and how it’s affecting her?
