Hollyoaks’ Ruby O’Donnell ‘secretly dating’ TV co-star months after split from sport player
Hollyoaks star Ruby O’Donnell has reportedly been ‘secretly dating’ co-star Nathaniel Dass following her split from rugby player boyfriend Sam Halsall.
The pair split in 2023 after a four-year romance during which they regularly shared loved-up snaps on social media.
Following their break up, both Ruby and Sam cleansed their Instagram accounts and removed joint snaps.
Now, it has been reported that the Peri Lomax actress is ‘secretly dating’ co-star Nathaniel Dass, who plays Dillon Ray in the Channel 4 soap.

The pair have aroused suspicions from fans that they may be an item after posting similar Instagram stories of weekends away – most recently of a trip to the Lake District.
Ruby also appeared to be teasing her new relationship when she posted pictures from a romantic holiday in Paris, sharing a snap of her legs alongside someone else’s beneath the Eiffel Tower.
Hollyoaks had no comment to make when approached by Metro.co.uk.
Ruby has played Peri Lomax in Hollyoaks for ten years, and has had some pretty dramatic storylines during that time.
Over the last year alone, Peri lost her girlfriend Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) to Hodgkin’s lymphoma, found herself a suspect in the murder of Rayne Royce (Gemma Donovan) and began a relationship with Juliet’s half-brother, Romeo (Owen Warner).
Meanwhile, Nathaniel’s character Dillon has also been at the centre of a powerful storyline since arriving in the Hollyoaks village a year ago.

Dillon grew close to Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis), and the pair soon began to fall for each other, though vulnerable Lucas was targeted by Carter Shepherd (David Ames), who manipulated him into believing that being gay was wrong.
This had a devastating effect on Lucas’ mental health, and when Dillon finally admitted his true feelings, Lucas lashed out with violence, having been left utterly confused by Carter’s teachings.
More recently, Lucas found the courage to admit his true feelings to Dillon.
