Will Grace do what she says?
Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Wednesday’s episode (October 2) which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Hollyoaks’ Mercedes McQueen has issued a serious threat to Grace Black, in the show’s latest episode.
This week, Lexi was rushed to hospital after she decided not to take her medication for her epilepsy – a condition that was triggered by a previous head injury.
Robbie blames Freddie for causing Lexi’s epilepsy, after she got injured while he left the kids alone to support Mercedes in the early stages of her cancer.
But Grace revealed to Mercedes that she knows the truth: Lexi suffered a head injury that day because Grace’s son Curtis pushed her.
In today’s episode, Freddie was upset about not currently having custody of his daughter, following his arrest this week.
He stayed out all night drinking, and Grace pleaded with him not to make things worse for himself.
Grace asked Mercedes not to say anything to Freddie about the altercation involving Curtis and Lexi, and she reluctantly agreed.
Freddie attempted to see Lexi but was stopped by her temporary guardian Robbie, who told him there was no way he will get custody after his arrest.
Out for revenge, Freddie grabbed a can of petrol and broke into the Loft. He poured the petrol all over the building and was about to set it alight when Grace and Rex stopped him.
They attempted to calm Freddie down, reminding him that he would go to prison if he went through with his plan and wouldn’t be able to see Lexi for years.
Freddie was desperate to get Lexi back and Grace promised to help him do this, while feeling guilty about what she knows.
At Casa McQueen, Freddie ignored Grace to go and speak to Mercedes about Lexi, before making a swift exit.
Grace blamed Mercedes for the whole thing, saying that the incident involving Lexi wouldn’t have happened had Freddie not come to support her.
Mercedes was furious and explained that she wasn’t able to get the cancer drugs she needs, before asking Grace to try and get them illegally.
“If Freddie can’t do it, you’ll have to,” she said, “or I will tell him that Curtis hurt Lexi and you knew.”
