Hollyoaks is set to air a pregnancy drama for Zoe at Hunter McQueen’s funeral.
Hunter recently passed away after taking dodgy drugs, the late character learning before he died that Zoe cheated on him with brother Prince.
In new scenes set to air next week, Zoe, Kitty, Prince and Theresa try and plan tributes to Hunter, though it proves awkward given they are trying to hide the truth about his drug overdose.
Dilly walks in after Zoe takes a pregnancy test, and tells Zoe that she needs to reveal that she’s pregnant to Hunter’s family. However, Zoe admits she may not want a baby due to her career.
Mourners gather for Hunter’s funeral, and upon seeing the hearse, Prince breaks down without his mother there. He’s also told by Zoe to forget about their night together for the day.
In a bad state, Prince starts drinking outside the church before Dilly and Mercedes manage to get him back inside for the service.
Later at the wake, Prince starts speaking out of turn after drinking too much, leading Zoe to worry he could accidentally blurt out the truth about Hunter’s death.
As such, Zoe decides to avert that potential disaster by revealing the truth about her pregnancy, just as Goldie arrives.
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
