Maxine uncovers a damning threat.
Hollyoaks flashback scenes have revealed Sienna Blake threatened to kill Ethan Williams hours before his death.
The soap has employed hidden camera footage and flashbacks to reveal what led up to Ethan’s death earlier this week, where he was shoved off the balcony following his and Sienna’s wedding.
Tuesday’s episode opened up with Jez, Liberty, and Dilly backing Sienna up during their police interrogations before Sienna herself faced questioning.
Sienna and Vicky crossed paths in the corridor of the Dee Valley police station, where they were held back from brawling once again when Vicky accused the grieving Sienna of pushing Ethan.

In the interrogation room, Sienna alarmed the two detectives by starting to laugh when she discovered Ethan had gotten her a knock-off platinum wedding ring.
“I love the way he thinks he can pull the wool over my eyes but he never quite can,” Sienna pointed out.
Asked whether Vicky and Ethan might have “rekindled” their fling, Sienna had a flashback of the aftermath of Ethan telling her about the affair.
A broken-hearted Sienna questioned whether anyone loved her, but Ethan insisted he was very much still in love with her.
“I’m so ashamed of comparing you to Vicky,” Ethan told her.
Sienna told Ethan they should accept they weren’t right for each other, but Ethan swayed her by insisting he’d “die without” her.
“We both know my life was in the bin after Dave died. You got me through that,” he assured Sienna.
Viewers learned that Sienna found out about the affair by “snooping through” Ethan’s phone.
At Sienna’s flat in the present day, Jez convinced Liberty, Dilly and Maxine to help him clear out all signs of Ethan from Sienna’s flat.
Maxine soon found some camera footage recorded last Christmas, where the two got into a heated row about Warren Fox’s role in Dave Williams’ death.
Fans know that Robbie Roscoe shot Dave to death, but the crime was pinned on Warren because he fled the village just before the murder.
The argument included Sienna and Ethan trading very personal insults about their intimacy, including Ethan asking why Sienna never wanted to be close to him anymore.
Through context clues, viewers learned that this was the argument that led up to Ethan seeking out Vicky for a one-night stand.
As the footage abruptly ended, Maxine was left horrified about what she’d seen. She gathered the family to show them the damning footage.
Back in the interrogation room, Sienna lost her cool when the detective brought up Robbie publicly revealing the affair. She admitted to the cops she’d been “furious” with Ethan after the wedding.
“Furious enough to kill him?” the detective asked her.
The soap then cut to another flashback, this one taking place just after Robbie’s demining announcement at their Sten Do.
In this camera footage, Ethan talked Sienna into going ahead with the wedding by promising he had no other secrets. As viewers know, he was lying as he’d paid for Vicky’s termination.
“If you ever lie to me, if you ever embarrass me like that again, I swear I will kill you,” Sienna threatened.
The soap cut to the present day where Maxine and the Blake family were horrified that Sienna’s threat was captured on film.
“Sienna did this. She pushed Ethan,” Maxine declared.
