Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou hints at darker story for Leah Patterson
Ada Nicodemou, who plays Leah Patterson on the serial opera Home and Away, has alluded to a darker plot point for her character in the show.
After 23 years as a main cast member, the actress hinted in a recent interview that there are no signs of the drama in Summer Bay ending.
She told Today, “The stuff I’m filming right now is pretty heavy.” “The journey ahead is lengthy, but there will be some light at the end of the tunnel.
Ada said, “And look, it’s not like it’s all dark every week; there has been some lightness.”
“There are a lot of laughs both on and off screen, and I’m lucky that my character and James [Stewart’s] character get to do some light comedy stuff.”
Considering that the soap opera usually films several months in advance of its airing, fans may have to wait a bit to see these sequences.
Ada gave fans peace of mind last year when she revealed her long-term plans for the soap opera and said she would not be leaving Summer Bay.
“I truly enjoy being here; I’m very happy.” She said to The West Australian, “I have amazing friends, why would I leave such a great job?” I’ve been doing it for so long that it’s become ingrained in my daily routine. I lead a wonderful lifestyle as a mother, a partner, and a worker.”
The actress stated: “Yeah, there are long hours, and you have your challenging days but overall, it’s a really fun job, working with people you enjoy working with, and I get to travel, and go to great events like Telethon and meet amazing people.”
