Kara Killmer Posted the Goofiest Behind the Scenes Photo with David Eigenberg
The Chicago Fire stars had a blast on set.
On November 15, Chicago Fire star Kara Killmer (Sylvie Brett) posted a heartwarming snapshot of herself hanging out with her co-star David Eigenberg (Christopher Hermann). In the picture, they press their faces together while Hermann makes a goofy face at the camera.
Killmer certainly likes to goof around on the Chicago Fire set. On June 11, she posted some fun pictures of her and Hanako Greensmith (Violet Mikami) making funny faces at the camera, including one with some chocolate smeared all over their teeth.
“Season 11 photo dump. Mostly of @hanakogreensmith and I acting nuts, but some quality #bts of @danielkyri and @mrmayo and a few others as well. It’s all about humor here. My favorite is Hanako’s, ‘God she’s beautiful,’ comment in the last slide. @nbconechicago @wolfentertainment,” Killmer captioned the post.
“I love you 😭😂😭😂 no one I’d rather be nutty with ❤️,” Greensmith commented.
Kara Killmer on Sylive Brett’s breakup with Casey
In a 2022 interview with NBC Insider, Killmer opened up about her character’s split with Casey (Jesse Spencer).
“It’ll be interesting to see her really dedicate herself to her career,” she told us. “And I think we’ve always seen Sylvie in a relationship. We’ve always seen her in a romance. She’s a hopeless romantic, but I think it’s important to see her come into her own and focus on her own things. Friendships and her career, not just her love life. I’m really excited about being able to explore all of that.”
She continued: “She wasn’t able to be fully invested in her relationship or her work,” she says. “And she has this passion project of paramedicine that is really making a difference. That is how she’s trying to impact the city.”
“Sheffield comes back basically to tell Sylvie, ‘I’m engaged,'” she said. “I think that was one of the dominoes for Sylvie that was like, ‘Wow, Violet and Hawkins are finally together. Kidd and Severide are finally married. Even my ex-fiancé is moving on with his life.’ I think it was just being surrounded by everyone moving forward in their relationships, and yet Sylvie was still kind of frozen in hers. I think it was the linchpin; it was the push that she needed to go ahead and decide to end the relationship. At least for now.”
