The Chicago P.D. star shared some photos of his furry companion.
Patrick John Flueger has the cutest little furry friend!
On November 14, the Chicago P.D. star, who plays Officer Adam Ruzek, posted the most adorable photo of his white fluffball cat. The best part? The kitty’s name is Loki, aka the God of Mischief.
In the snapshot, the cat looked majestic while perched up on a kitchen counter, with a lamp shining directly on him from above. Flueger also gave fans a glimpse of Loki in February last year, showing pictures of the cat taking a nap with Flueger, and peaking out of a dishwasher
“Lil Cat nap…” the actor affectionately captioned the post.
Flueger isn’t the only Chicago P.D. star who loves their pet dearly. Tracy Spiridakos, who plays Hailey Upton, is the proud pup momma of an adorable Rottweiler named Nala.
Spiridakos likes to give her fans many updates about Nala’s whereabouts, including taking selfies with the dog, and even bringing Nala on the Chicago P.D. set. On August 13, Spiridakos posted the funniest picture of her playing fetch with Nala. The dog made the goofiest face while catching a tennis ball in the air, looking totally determined.
“Nala is known for her gracefulness,” Spiridakos captioned the post.
Patrick John Flueger on Adam Ruzek getting shot
However, things have been much less lighthearted for Flueger’s Chicago P.D. character, as Ruzek was shot at the end of Season 10. His fate is currently unknown, and in an interview with NBC Insider, the actor gave an explanation of what was going on inside of Ruzek’s head before the devastating injury.
“He’s with this young woman that I think he cares for and can see needs help, and she has a young son that I think he cares for,” he told us. “He has been told nothing but lies his entire life other than what he hears from his mom, who only has so much power to tell him the truth. That duality is not fun [for Ruzek], especially when he wants to go home, when he’s got a daughter, and he’s got [Kim Burgess] that he’s rekindled his romance with.”
He continued, “It’s like partying in Vegas when you’re in your 20s. It sounds awesome, [but] you just kind of grow out of these certain things, and you realize what’s important. I think he’s exhausted, and I think it’s starting to wear on him that what he’s undercover for, it’s not for one individual. It’s for this possible mass attack. So I think it is weighing on him as things go forward.”
