She’s trying to understand the fact that her great-aunt lied to her throughout her entire life. To deal with it, Claire plans to talk to Jordan in prison to get some answers and move forward. But fixing all the damage caused by Jordan is going to be a lengthy process.
And then there’s Nikki. Since the moment Jordan and Claire connected her to an IV filled with alcohol, the Newman family matriarch has been struggling to stay sober. Since she returned to Genoa City, Nikki has been sneaking around, taking sips of liquor, mainly vodka. Once again, Claire and Nikki are going through a tough time on The Young and the Restless. In the recent episode, Victoria got caught in betwen Claire and Nikki. While she wanted to help both of them, she could only help one.
In that specific episode, Victoria headed to Newman Enterprises to ask her father, Victor, if she could use the company jet and have members of the Newman security team accompany them to Oregon. Their mission? Confronting Jordan. Despite Victoria’s pleas, Victor wasn’t completely on board with the idea, and that’s when Nikki stepped into the picture. Nikki strongly insisted that Victoria and Claire should steer clear of Jordan, saying that she is a threat.
Victor was convinced that Jordan might do something dangerous. She did not want Victoria to proceed and openly opposed it. Nikki went to the extent of declaring, “Over my dead body.” While Victoria understood Nikki’s stance, the former “Ice Princess” insisted that she then had a chance to be a mother to her daughter—a chance that had been denied for many years.
