To celebrate the occasion, Tracy Spiridakos (Hailey Upton) shared a fun selfie of herself and co-star Marina Squerciati (Kim Burgess), with a quick glimpse behind the scenes of the show.

“Annnnd we’re back!! 🥳👯♀️ #chicagopd #burgess #upton #bupton? #upgess?” Spiridakos enthusiastically captioned the post.

What to know about Chicago P.D. Season 11
Returning on Wednesday, January 17 at 10/9c, fans are eager to find out what exactly will unfold this Season. In an interview with NBC Insider, Patrick John Flueger (Adam Ruzek) gave us a hint about the romance between his character and Burgess.
“If Instagram comments are any indication, most of the fans are like, ‘Just leave them alone, leave them alone,'” he told us. “So I think we’ve got enough opportunities for drama on our show that maybe you’ll actually be able to see two people just kind of be happy together.”
He continued, “[Marina and I have] definitely both told the writers—and, you know, we can tell them anything we want, but it doesn’t mean they’re going to listen—that if they break us up again, like, please let’s not try this again because it’s too much. It’s too much.”
Meanwhile, in an interview with Variety, Spiridakos opened up about how Upton is dealing with the absence of her partner, Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) after he left for Bolivia. “This ultimately will change her in some way, which I’m interested to see how,” she told the outlet. “We’re still in the change. She finds out that he’s extended his stay and has that breakdown moment of having this hope and then all of a sudden, that’s gone. It’s the first time we see her break down since he’s left, since their goodbye. I think there’s gonna be some changes for her over the next little while.”
