TV legend loved up as she brands real-life soap star partner her ‘whole world’
Nikki Sanderson gave the cutest shout-out to her partner Anthony Quinlan on social media.
The real-life soap couple were first confirmed to be dating back in January 2022, and have gone from strength to strength ever since.
In her latest Instagram post, the actress shared a mirror selfie of her looking pretty in pink alongside Anthony.
She wrote: ‘Happiness is holding someone in your arms and knowing you hold the whole world. ― Orhan Pamuk.’
This comes after Nikki celebrated her 40th birthday with Anthony while on a tropical holiday.
‘Happy Monday,’ she penned.
‘A little break is just what we needed, lovely birthday treat for us both. Here’s to turning 40 well for me anyway… one more year for you @anthonyquinny .’
It was reported that sparks ignited between the two due to their love of fitness, with a source telling The Sun at the time: ‘Nikki and Anthony go to the same gym and are really into fitness, so they bonded over that.
‘Nikki has been having a bit of a tough time lately, and Anthony has been a great support for her.’
In response to the source, Anthony was quick to shut down rumours and shared how they really met: ‘We’ve known each other for years. There were rumours we met at the gym, which we had a bit of a laugh about,’
‘I slid into the DMs and that was it. I was lucky enough to get a date and the rest is history.’
Anthony, who starred in Emmerdale as Pete Barton and Hollyoaks as Gilly Roach, previously said of Nikki,
‘I’ve always fancied her. She’s mega hot, right? We’ve known each other for years. There were rumours we met at the gym, which we had a bit of a laugh about.
‘I slid into the DMs and that was it. I was lucky enough to get a date and the rest is history.’
Nikki has starred in Hollyoaks since 2012 as Maxine Minniver, and prior to that had a six year stint in Coronation Street playing Candice Stowe.
