It’s the second week in a row without seeing the Dutton family on our screens.
Back in September 2023, fans of Yellowstone received the best news ever when CBS announced it would be airing previous episodes of the hit Paramount Network series every Sunday.
Since it was the first time the show aired on broadcast television, it not only reacquainted old fans with the Dutton family, but invited a slew of new viewers into the Yellowstone world. And with everything going on with the season 5 part 2 finale, including a months-long wait for the last episodes, it’s been particularly comforting for folks to tune-in every Sunday to re-watch their favorite moments.
But sadly, if you’re tuning in on February 11, you may be surprised to see that a new episode of Yellowstone won’t actually be on CBS. After people missed seeing an installment due to the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 4, it may lead some to wonder why is the TV lineup suddenly changing. Well, we did some research, and there’s a big reason why Yellowstone isn’t airing tonight.
Is Yellowstone going to be on CBS tonight?
As much as we’d love to see more of the Dutton family, there will be no new episode of Yellowstone tonight on CBS. This change in scheduling is due to the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl, which will take over Yellowstone’s time slot on the network.
When will Yellowstone return to CBS?
While the news of Yellowstone not airing a new episode is a bummer, that’s not the only sad piece of information. Given how the season 3 finale aired on CBS at the end of January, it may be some time before folks get to see season 4. The following Sunday (February 18), new episodes of The Equalizer, Tracker and CSI: Vegas are set to premiere. And, to be clear, CBS has not confirmed whether it will air season 4 at all.
While you wait for the next episode to drop on CBS, there are other ways you catch up on previous seasons of Yellowstone in the meantime. The show is currently available to stream on Peacock, and the site offers plans for folks to opt into starting at $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year. Once you’re ready, click on the show’s title page on Peacock’s website or on the Peacock app.
